📅 Effective Jan 10, 2025, updated CMA unemployment rates are live! Here's what you need to know:
Key Conditions:
No LMIA applications processed if CMA unemployment is 6% or higher and wages are below the threshold.
Good News: Vancouver, Abbotsford, Winnipeg, Brantford, Kingston, Ottawa-Gatineau, and Trois-Rivières now eligible.
Ineligible Until April 2025: Saint John, Guelph, and Barrie.
