Madden NFL 24: Top 10 Overall Rating Players

Check out the highest-rated players ready to get them in Madden NFL 24 with the full ratings list.

Each year, Madden NFL unveils player ratings for all active players in the NFL. Ratings indicate how a player will perform on the virtual gridiron in Madden NFL based on their performance on the real NFL field. Player ratings are now available ahead of Madden NFL 24’s upcoming release. Here’s who’s on top - but stats change throughout the NFL season.

1. Aaron Donald

This three-time Defensive Player of the Year will have a 99 overall rating again, breaking 7th time, surpassing Peyton Manning. With 99 strength, awareness, power moves, play recognition, and 98 toughness, Aaron Donald has by far the highest stat spread in Madden 24. But he’s also good in other categories - speed, acceleration, and agility in particular - making him an all-rounder.

2. Justin Jefferson

Minnesota Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson is the latest NFL player to join the Madden 99 club. His rating is far from a surprise. Since his rookie season, Jefferson has posted 4,825 receiving yards, which is almost 400 yards more than the next-best, Davante Adams. And his offensive stats are some of the highest in the game: 98 catch, 98 stamina, 96 change of direction, and excellent, widespread running stats. His reaction is priceless.

3. Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes is a 99. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has enjoyed a banner year, from being the regular season MVP to the Super Bowl MVP to adding a second championship ring to his arsenall. He was not only an All-Pro and Pro Bowler but also won the ESPY for best male athlete just a few weeks ago. As a QB, his Madden stats focus on the offense, with high toughness (99), awareness (98), throw power (97), and stamina (96). All in all, Mahomes is the second-best offensive player in Madden 24.

4. Travis Kelce

Kelce makes history with status, as he now has the most 99 rankings of any tight end. This is his fourth time getting the highest number. It is no surprise Kelce is among the elite. He is coming off his second Super Bowl win, where he had six receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles. In Madden 24, his best are toughness (94), catch (97), stamina (97), and awareness (99). As a tight end, Kelce’s got it where it counts. He’s a strong offensive player, and his recent Super Bowl victories make him a desirable addition to any MUT. If you want to get him, please prepare a lot of Madden 24 Coins in advance. After all, 99 rating players will post an amazing offer.

5. Zack Martin

This year, Dallas Cowboys guard Zack Martin made the cut with an OVR of 99. In doing so, he became the first guard to achieve the illustrious rating since former Cowboy Larry Allen did it in 2003. He definitely has a point, as he’s made the All-Pro team in four out of the last five seasons. In Madden 24, some of his best stats are awareness, run block, and injury, all at 98. The first two relate to his position as a right guard, devoted to protecting the quarterback and creating openings for his teammates to run through. He also has a high injury rating of 98, which means he’s less prone to getting hurt when he takes a bad bump.

6. Lane Johnson

Lane Johnson, the game’s top-ranked right tackle, continues to excel even in the later years of his career. Impressively, he holds a remarkable record of 26 consecutive games without surrendering a sack. This achievement spans over a season and a half, showcasing his exceptional skills and reliability. In Madden 24, he has an OVR of 98. He is fast but doesn’t skimp on stopping power - his running block has an overall stat of 98, with the highest possible run block power of 99. He also has high blocking stats across the board, with a 95 impact blocking rating, 95 lead block, and 96 pass block. With numbers like that, he’ll keep defenders in check, so his Ultimate Team can score.

7. Myles Garrett

What might be surprising is that Garrett is no longer a member of the 99 Club. While he held the highest possible rating in the game last year, Garrett enters this year with a 98 overall in Madden 24. Garrett is still one of the top defensive ends in the game, coming in behind Aaron Donald. Garrett specializes in pure strength (with a 96), power moves (98), and pursuit (97). He’s known for racking up sacks on the real-life field, making him an excellent defensive player in Madden 24.

8. Nick Bosa

Star 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa was given a 98 overall rating in the upcoming edition of the NFL video game. While the number is among the best in the league, it is still a small step shy of the elusive 99 Club. In Madden NFL 24, Bosa is a right end with high awareness (99), finesse moves (98), and play recognition (97). That means he can be counted on to notice the opposing team’s strategies and take decisive action, making him a strong defensive player.

9. Trent Williams

Trent Williams also has an OVR of 98 in Madden NFL 24. Williams is considered one of the best tackles in the NFL and has made the Pro Bowl 10 times in a 13-year career. His incredible strength is his greatest asset, although his speed suffers somewhat as a result. As expected of a talented tackle, Williams has high strength and toughness stats in Madden - both 98 and a stunning impact blocking stat of 99.

10. Tyreek Hill

Tyreek Hill is second in the ratings as Miami Dolphins wide receiver, rated 98 overall. He’s been nicknamed “Cheetah” for his speed - and that’s reflected in his Madden 24 stats. His speed and acceleration both sit at 99, with a 98 agility stat to back that up and help out with some quick turning. His throwing and kicking stats are far lower and aren’t quite up to snuff, but Hill has everything a wide receiver needs.
